Free Parent Session: Supporting Your Child Through GCSE English

A calm, practical online session for parents of students in Years 9, 10 and 11 who want to understand what really matters in GCSE English - and how to support their child without overwhelming them.

Date: Wednesday 22nd July 2026

Time: 7-7.30pm

Location: online - no account needed

What we’ll cover

In this free session, I’ll talk through:

  • what students should focus on before and during the GCSE years

  • common mistakes that hold students back in English

  • how parents can support at home without turning every conversation into revision

  • why confidence, clarity and control matter so much

  • how small-group masterclasses can help students build these skills over time

A relaxed parent session

Cameras can stay off, and you are very welcome to simply listen.

There will be a chance to ask questions at the end. To help me make sure I cover as much as possible, you’re welcome to email any questions in advance.
